Director Matt Reeves has confirmed that Scarlett Johansson has been cast in The Batman: Part II. While he didn't say what role she's playing, Reeves' social media announcement used a GIF from the 2013 film Under the Skin where Johansson played an alien who hunted lone men.
The rumor mill has long suggested she's playing Gilda Dent, the wife of Harvey Dent. She was revealed to be the serial killer Holiday in the classic comic Batman: The Long Halloween.
Director Matt Reeves has confirmed that Sebastian Stan has been cast. His welcome social media post saying "In a Gotham state of mind..." certainly suggests that the Winter Soldier actor is playing Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face.
Colin Farrell will return as Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin.

Brian Tyree Henry has been cast in The Batman: Part II in an undisclosed role. The Eternals actor is the third Marvel actor cast in the film after Johansson and Stan. He also had a small role in Joker.
Jayme Lawson will return as Gotham City Mayor Bella Reál.
German actor Sebastian Koch (Bridge of Spies, Homeland, The Lives of Others) has been cast in an undisclosed role in The Batman: Part II.
